I have been painting for over 25 years. My favorite media to work in is watercolor paint. I find it so freeing and loose allowing for "happy accidents" to happen with the color mixing. I love the subtle changes in light and color that a watercolor painting captures. Although I enjoy exploring new ways of creating art, I prefer the traditional techniques of watercolors when approaching my work. I am currently inspired by the artist Winslow Homer and his beautiful watercolors of the New England coastline. I hope to capture the timeless beauty of the sea and coast through the medium of watercolor.
